Merlin // Doctor Who AU － Ｊｅｔｈｒｏ ａｎｄ Ｃａｍｅｌｏｔ
As the Doctor decides to take Jethro along with him for a journey to the past, the young boy doesn’t quite believe it when they end up in a world full of knights, dragons and magic. But not only that, suddenly he is facing a man who claims to be the King of Camelot. And as this guy, above all of this, calls him “Merlin” and wants him to polish his boots, Jethro just laughs and leaves the confused King behind. But, certainly, this stuck up man with golden hair is stunningly beautiful, isn’t he?
“Hey, Merlin! This wasn’t a joke, my boots need polishing.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about, you giant prat. Do I look like this ‘Merlin’ to you?”
“Yes, indeed you do. Although your hair has grown so long in an amazing short time … Now stop joking and get to work! Or do I need to throw you in the dungeons for the night?”
“I don’t know if you‘re joking, but I am off. See ya!”
I once retold that joke: “On a scale of Jack Harkness to John Watson, how out of the closet are you?” while visiting my family.
My brother didn’t even glance up from what he was doing, and answered with “Arthur Pendragon.”
